Big Surf from Hurricane Ike

Hurricane Ike sent super high tides and big surf crashing down on South Padre. Surfers inundated the jetties to ride the eight-foot tubes. Water flooded several streets and flowed all the way to Padre Blvd. Beachfront condos lacking a solid dune line got hit pretty hard by waves and sand.
